At Sawyers & Jacobs LLC, we work with community banks throughout the nation daily, and we know how crucial board education and training is to these financial institutions. Accordingly, we are honored to be a part of the Certified Community Bank Director’s (CCBD) Program from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking Foundation (SWGSB). The Program will be November 8-10, 2023, at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
The Program’s comprehensive curriculum addresses all areas of bank directorship—from duties and responsibilities to the foundations of bank finance—and our own Jimmy Sawyers (long-time faculty member of SWGSB where he teaches the Technology, Payments, and Cybersecurity course) will be leading a session on “Cybersecurity Threats, Trends, and Truths.” As always, you won’t want to miss what Jimmy has to say about the latest on this topic!
