Sawyers & Jacobs LLC is pleased to announce our newest team member, Chris Barron.
Chris Barron helps our clients with a variety of IT and risk management issues while drawing on his extensive background in auditing and financial services.
Chris resides in the Jackson, Mississippi, area and has 20 years of experience in banking. He began his banking career as an IT auditor and helpdesk analyst before moving to a Big Four accounting firm in Memphis as an auditor. He later joined a specialized bankers’ bank, where he provided internal and IT audit services to financial institutions across Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama, before most recently serving as Director of Internal Audit at a regional bank headquartered in Nashville.
A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Chris holds his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and his Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification.
